Approved our first LGTBI+ protocol

In Grupo La Plana we have approved our first LGTBI+ protocol, with the collaboration of the legal representatives of all our work centers.

 

This document was created with the aim of promoting equality and consolidating the rights of LGTBI+ people within our organization. Grupo La Plana maintains a firm commitment to diversity, which will become a strategic principle of our Corporate Policy and people management.

 

What are some of the commitments we acquired with this protocol?

– We incorporate the principles of equal opportunities and respect for LGTBI+ diversity into our values.
– We extend the commitment to the entire workforce, with specific training on the rights of LGTBI+ people in the workplace.
– We have created a committee for attention to harassment based on sexual orientation, gender identity and/or gender expression in each of our plants.
– We are committed to a work environment free of prejudice and discrimination, where each person feels valued, regardless of their sexual orientation, identity, gender expression or sexual characteristics.

 

At Grupo La Plana we believe that our responsibility goes beyond compliance with current legislation, as LGTBI+ diversity not only enriches the corporate culture, but also influences the growth and value of the company.
