Cartonajes La Plana has collaborated in the project of rehabilitation and recovery as socio-cultural of the castle-palace of the Counts of Arizo located in the center of Betxí space. To do so, it has contributed with 10,000 euros as a sign of social commitment of the company that tries to contribute to local socio-economic development of the population.

 

In the first phase of this project it has been recovered the iconic Renaissance courtyard of this fortified Gothic residential building built in the late sixteenth century on a medieval fortress. The rehabilitation of the monument, listed as of Cultural Interest (Bien de Interés Cultural – BIC) since 1997, represents an investment of 168,000 euros, coinciding the intervention in the Renaissance courtyard with the 450th anniversary of its construction by the master architect Joan of Ambuesa.
A representation of Cartonajes La Plana (pictured), headed by the CEO of the company, Juan Ignacio Piquer, visited the rehabilitation works along with the Mayor of Betxí, Alfred Remolar.
